JDS....what made you decide to step away from the easy AFROTC life and enlist?

As easy as AFROTC life is...life as a full-time university student just wasn't working out for me. I have half my degree so I can enlist as an E-3 and complete it (for FREE ) at my own pace while on active duty (probably around the time I'll make sergeant), then submit my package for OTS and see about that pilot slot

Plus I LOVE mechanical work, and I LOVE airplanes, and I've got perfect ASVAB scores so I get to pick any job I want, including turning a wrench on airplanes
