is everyone here gonna make me feel that i should have bought a V1?
Is it really that much better?
Hey, there's no law about having 2 RD?

My V1 beats my 9500ix generally by 10-20%. That being said, the 9500ix has excellent sensitivity but the V1 is just a beast. Only a select few expensive remotes can edge out the V1 and it's not by much usually if they do.
I run both actually; a 9500ix and a V1. While it's not recommended, if you are willing to risk the two interfering or able to prove that they don't in your setup, it's an excellent RD setup.

Sorry amcutem. I had a picture but see they already made fun of you for it, so I didn't want to continue.

Yup. Still, the 9500i is a good RD but the V1 just beats the tar out of it when it comes to raw sensitivity, I/O detection, and every other radar detector category except quietness. Running two RDs in not recommended unless one is a windshield RD and the other is a remote RD.
yeah, oh well. Whatever i guess.
Its not like the V1 is gonna dissappear or something. I can always get one l8ter.
But i still can't understand how much better it could be?

It depends on how you look at it. The V1 has 2 big advantages but the 9500ix has many more:
V1:
1) 10-15% more sensitivity than the 9500.
2) Arrows that show where the LEO and falses may be.
3) Fully detailed bogey counter (9500 has as well but not as detailed)
4) Excellent ramp up.
9500ix:
1) Less false alerts while driving (speed sensitive).
2) GPS TrueLock to completely lock out areas of falses.
3) RLC alerts.
4) Speed cam alerts.
5) Speed trap alerts.
6) USB updateable.
7) Voice alerts...
IMO the 9500 smokes the V1 when it comes to what it can give you. But most enthusiasts focus only on the numbers and forget about other advantages that some may benefit from.
It all comes down to what you want in a RD and though the V1 wins tests it doesn’t mean its real world performance will fit your stile or needs.

I don't really care about the ramp up to much. Isnt that just how the alarm goes off from low to high? As long that it alarms, im happy. The instant it alarms, i become cautious anyways, no matter how low or high.
