Ahhhh.......concerning the trade in............I think your SOL in either case. If you return the RedLine, no way. If you decide to keep it I could see them saying TOO LATE! If you do decide to keep it I guess it's worth a shot though.......you have nothing to lose for asking.

Yep......did you get the lame excuse that so and so has been out of the office and is trying to get caught up. Been there. I can't believe they have just one person working returns.............and 999 working sales.
Or........maybe the 9500ix was to hold you over until they could get all the RedLines repainted from flat black to semi-gloss!
They are really not the quick trigger company to Costumer service. Whistler responds like quick trigger![]()
If you are using the trade-in program, you should wait until near the end of the 30 day period, when you decide if you're going to keep the new one, before you send the old one in. Then at that point they credit your card for the $80.
So don't send the old one in until you are sure if you are going to keep the new one. At least that is how BEL handled trade-ins before.
