Magazine ads appear to be what have driven sales for RedLine the most, the car enthusiast market in particular.
That's what I suspected, and it doesn't always have to do with being an actual hard core car enthusiast. I've seen and read a whole bunch of magazines with the ads while in a Dr.'s office, Dentist office, or barber either for my own appt. or my wife. The ads are very well done and attention getters with a never ending stream of individuals who don't subscribe to the magazine themselves.

What would be your selling points to a Sti users ? Except the novelty
attraction .My sti was never upgraded and was purchased January 2006.

    Thanks.

So far from viewing youtubes from speedtraphunter and personal opinions it seems the STi and Redline are dead even on performance for all bands, at least for the updated STi. As of today I have no reason or "enthusiasm" to switch which in my case would be about a $250 net price for the Redline after [would be] trading or selling my STi on ebay.

I ordered a Redline a few weeks back - after reviewing a bunch I believe the STi is a very close match to RL, same antennas, stealth, and detection are extremely close. I was tempted to order STi when I found out there was a long wait for RL. But, I too want the latest and greatest. Unless it takes until Halloween, or the Yankees win the World Series.

In that case, good luck with your new STi driver.
