Red or Blue X50?

I should have done some thinking before getting so upset with the video posted. There are some things to consider when testing a radar detector. I did some testing of my own with 2 Escort 8500 X50s Here is what I found.
- Both are quick to pick up a trigger pull on X band - 1 second or less.
- Having 2 Radar Detectors Next to each other for testing can Jam the other radar detectors reciving signal and the other detector may not alert. (This may be the case in the testing video V1 vs. X50 KA Instant on.)
sometimes you will get an alert sometimes you wont when both detectors are too close together.

I get the same quick-triggering results with the RX-65 with the Stalker, and also on X and K band, running the detector by itself. It isn't difficult to do, even without thinking about it. You just pull the trigger, and release as soon as you hear the doppler audio, at which time a speed is displayed.

For those that don't know, the video was supposed to be a POP video, however it was later found to not actually be in POP mode, so the video was a quick-trigger instant-on video. Detals on this here:
