nope, not yet. escortradar.com still says pre-order coming soon, so it's probably not ready to ship yet. last i heard, late january. but i really don't expect anything until february or later. i'm not a real hurry since there are no redlight cameras in my state (area) and very few state next door plus i use trapster; i'm getting sc-55 mostly to connect and quiet my v1. haven't yet looked real hard at cheetah products.

I preordered and that included free shipping and the $50 gift card trade-in which the rep assured me of this at the time I placed my order. I really really hope they don't send me the SC55 later in February at full-price + shipping and the whole gift card offer has long expired. Failure to honor would guarantee a return.

They told me over the phone at the time I ordered that the trade-in program was not applicable since the SC55 is not a radar detector of $250 or more (now says detector, navigation, or security) and they said it couldn't be combined with teh gift card promotion. At the time I called in, didn't say that on the website but a few days later, I see it was added. But I thought it could be done at the time because I put a detector in teh card and I added both to the cart...but I guess you can still add both today.

Sounds like next week, it will ship.

I ordered it same time as Redline, will give it a spin and see what happens. If it does not work out looks like a C-50......

Ya, the C-50 is also a very good unit. I was contemplating it when i was thinking of getting the RedLine.
