Passport - 8500 vs. X50

What are the differences between the 8500 and the 8500 X50?

I know POP was added, but what else?

Many who have owned both will swear by the original 8500 on Ka detection. POP detection is really the only technology that was added.

KA detecting was better because the pumped up the K band.....which in return causes the loss of KA band range........ 8)

Wasn't the horn changed as well as other hardware?

Did the 8500 offer the Blue LEDs?

I don't believe so, only red.
