Tune-up Worth it?

I went on escorts website today to check out the new Redline (I'd really like to get one, they seem sahweet!) and I noticed they have a Tune-up program for your current detector. Since I'm on a college budget I'm sorta entertaining this idea vs getting the new redline. I have an 8500 X50 that I got off of ebay almost a year ago for about $170. It was in worse shape that I would have hoped, but it seems to work fine. Thoughts?

I don't think a tune-up is going to make your X50's performance match that of a Redline, but you sure would save a lot of $$ vs buying an entirely new detector.

Right, I realize it won't be as good as a redline after the tune-up, I guess I'm just wondering if the tune-up is worth the money. One thing that is sweet to me is that it comes with their new SuperCup Mount

I think it is worth it. When they did mine I got a new antenna, new front cover, new suction cups and new smart cord for 70 bucks.
