Housing on the 9500IX is separating

I bought a 9500IX last October and I noticed today that the housing is coming apart.
On the side is a gray strip right where the top and bottom connect and I noticed there was a gap above it.
I took the rd down and it felt like it snapped back together, rehung it and the gap appeared again. You can see the gap above the display too.
When you set it on a table the gap goes away, but hang it and it appears.
I am afraid it will come apart while driving down the road.
Is this a warranty fix or will I have to pay to get it fixed?

Well The replacement came today. It took less than a week after I mailed the old one out.
Escort even gave me a 3 year data base subscription for the hassle of having to return the old one.
They took great care of me. Thank you Escort.
