Thumbs up Wish list to escort line.

    1) Store last 5 frequencies in spec mode. Scroll back to recall each.

    2) Enable blue tooth remote connection to NMEA external GPS, which can then record each encounter with Lat/Long details. (Like some GPS units do now with speed, add radar alerts, frequencies, etc.)

    3) Arrows

    4) Fix audio ramp up problems.

Sti r + does number two in your wish list which also covers number one because you can go back and look at what frequency it was as well as location and heading.

I just wish they would fix the ramp-up. Sucks when it seems like you were owned by I/O but really the Cop is using C/O a mile down the road.

Yeah, I just don't understand why they won't fix it. There is also the related problem of getting a couple of Ka lights then full blast as you come upon the LEO. It's just a software issue. They could fix it easily and download it over their Internet site. it's a complex piece of gadgetry; they can surely address given they have advances of GPS, TSR, Truelock, Autolearn, Automute, etc.

My Redline seems to have a much better ramp up then my ci. Though its still not perfect, it is better. Wonder if there is any real difference??

What I want to know is if Escort's rampup problems are intentional. Maybe someone thought that if they make the warning sound more urgent, this would help the non-enthusiast take the alert more seriously. I'm wondering if this is someone's brilliant idea and they are refusing to fix it because their ego is getting in the way. Like, this person thinks it's a great idea and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. This is an easy thing to get right, yet they refuse. Makes no sense.

The RedLine's rampup seems just as awful to me. No current Escort detector has even adequate rampup. It's a terrible rampup convention and Escort has its entire detector lineup in the building.

I've had my 9500ci wish list up on the Escort forum for over a year now. They've fixed two of the eight things I've asked for.....

.....but the rampup problem is not one of the things they've chosen to fix.

I gotta agree with djrams on this, I tested aa2033's Redline on the way up to the NJ test meet heading up I-95 and when it alerted to Ka I thought I just got I/Owned...real annoying I couldn't stand it and neither could he haha.
