RX65 or Escort 8500??

Well my dad just took back his radar dectector, so now i am going to have to buy one for myself. So which one should i get or is their really no difference between the two? Radar Roy says the RX65 is the best he has ever tested so i'm thinking of going with that.

If you have the cash, try a V1, you'll be sold. If not, get the RX-65. IMHO it's slightly better than the X50.

Well, you can be your own judge. I know what my preference is but with the 30 trial on the 3 top dogs I would get each one and try it out this way it will be first hand experience and you are not obligated to keep the two you decide don't meet your expectations.

All three offer 30 day trials? From what site if you don't mind enlightening me.

Yeah it is a pretty standard thing. Bel, Escort, VR all offer that. Get all three and return the ones you don't like is the best solution.

The problem is - is 30 days enough, do you have $1100 to spend at one shot on RD's, etc.
