I do vaguely remember a "certain" member posting a few years ago that if an m3 platform belscort got hot enough a fried or damaged LNA could leak.

Hmm... I should move to Ontario, buy a Spectre, and open a car repair shop, specializing in inspections. Test the stealth RD along with the brakes, horn and emissions.

This would be my recommendation if you live in an area where they are illegal. Fleabay has them for VERY cheap ($30 or so).

So Sorry u lost a perfectly good Radar Detector.

Is there something wrong here. Redline is 100% undetectable. Your Title is misleading.

LEO asked for it immediately. So there are a few mistakes here that I can see.
One. You Panicked. But I believe you were on private property.
Two. U handed over the Redline. Admission of guilt.

So your windshield mounts for the Detector must have been showing for him to suspect it was there.

Your Title should say REDLINE NABBED by Eagle Eye OPP Officer who used illegal seizure techniques to steal your detector.
