    Default Hardwired 8500x50. Placement Question

Ok, I was able to successfully hardwire my 8500x50, I just want to make sure that this placement will still be good for front and rear radar:

I hope it's correct, I got a .5 mile 35.7 Ka Hit O/A from a State Leo sitting at an intersection

    Thanks

it doesn't look to bad, I can't tell from the photo, but is it tilted? If it is sitting at a tilt that could lower the range just a bit, but that is basically the same general area where I have mine mounted and it does just fine

Doesn't matter where you put it, you're still vulnerable from the rear.

    Looks good to me.

I personally would mount it on my side of the rearview mirror just so I could read the display better. But it would work just as well on either side of it.

It's parallel to the ground, but because of my windshield curvature; it faces to the right just a bit

That was my first thought, but I suppose if it works for the driver...that works too.
