    Default Redline vs. 9500ix

    hey guys
alright i have been talking to Jeff from radarbusters....
i am looking for a new radar detector... i had the redline but it failed on me within one month (speaker)
i was looking at the 9500ix; i dont really care for the GPS (dont really trust it... id rather get annoyed and know i will get a cop radar even if he is using the same band)
i loved the distance on the redline; but like the self update on the 9500ix.

what would you guys say? i want to stay with escort.

The "self update" is primarily for the GPS functions. If you don't care about those, the Redline will offer better detections range.

Either go with the redline again or get a v1. 9500 just sucks

^?? why is everyone so quick to dump the 9500ix as garbage?

all testing shows it comes a close 3rd in most tests after the redline and V1.
