Default My Super Cup Mount Pic

I got to tell you. Someone at Escort needs to actually get out there and use this thing. By design it puts the 9500ix GPS antenna way back under the roof unless you mount it low on the windshield where thieves and cops can see it better.

I'm just glad the metal tab is of soft material so I could fold it back and get a nice tailored mounting position.
I have a tie-wrap for an emergency tether in the event the cup lets go she will hang.
I have it hard wired with the control on the dash in a great spot.
With ajust a little foresight they could have made the tab reversible.

Haha... No one will resist taking a stab at escort... I'm sure all of the employees are using them... They've got to have tons of them sitting in their warehouse since they're giving them out.

That's clever the way you mounted it... I haven't had a problem with it getting a signal with the mount. That's smart about having a saftey tether. I'm gonna do that!

I never got my supercup when I sent my 8500x50 for upgrade

Either way, I'm not disappointed, I like the regular suction cups anyways

I've been through two myself....won't even bother calling CS for another replacement...I'll just stick with the OEM suction cups. Agreed with the above, great idea, very poor quality/R&D.
