Did you happen to try any of the new SE models with POP OFF and runnning Filter 2?
As long as the pulse from the traffic monitor is brief, it may not pass the Filter 2 requirements.

I did run with filter two for awhile, and it did cut down the amount of times it registered. It gave me an alert about 75&#37; less of the time, but around my area with k-band falses, it would spike the audio because it was already detecting a k false, I noticed it seemed to detect the drones after running into a k false more often.

Maybe my SE was weird, but I did enjoy it when I had it. It was a great little detector.

Those are drones, not the latest speed sensors used in various parts of the country today. They used to black box drones in KY, just of south of Cincinnati back in the early 90's. Not sure if they are still used today.

So Escort filters out radar from the factory delaying response time for the comfort of the radar detector user? Then if TSR is enabled response is delayed even more?

Veil, did you know your V1 us programmable? It's not in the owner's manual but on the website which shows K-band muting since just about the beginning. It's completely customizable with no loss of sensitivity or the arrows. :)



V1 3.861- 3s muting, down 1, 7, E, F, G.

Yeah, since 1991, when I got my first one. :D

I don't think, though, that this approach is the most optimal to deal with this specific issue today.
