    Default replacement for Redline

The Redline's been around for what, 2+ years now. Does anyone know if there's a replacement coming down the pipeline ??

I'm in the market but can hold off a bit if a newer model is being released soon.
    Thanks

    No.
No plans from Escort for a RL 2.
Buy it. It has the LONGEST range avaiable. U WIIL be happy if u get a unit with a good speaker.
Its ONLY been out for 2 years??? The V1 has been out for like 20+...

I highly doubt Escort will introduce something that will take the Redline's place anytime soon. If anything they could always add a Redline GPS model. Not sure if they would do this or not, with the 9500ix out there.. Plus this would add a couple hundred to the Redline's $500 price.

Not sure enough people outside this board would spend ($700-$800) or more for a GPS Redline to add it to the line up.. JMO

Good luck. Hope you don't get a unit that's crap (speaker problem). Even units 1 month old!! are going bad

They are replacing....when they stop working. That's what I thought when I clicked here. Not another one!

OP, good question. I was wondering this the other day.

I haven't heard of anything in the future, but I'm hoping that Belscort will make an improved windshield version of the famous sti-r + somewhere down the line. But that's just a fantasy.

It looks like you should buy the redline now if you're in need of a detector.

^AGree, but if they do give us something like this it will probably cost us a Arm, Leg, and a few pints of blood to afford it.

I bet it wont be, and it will be something we all want.

I would buy the RedLine now, it would be a few more years for a RedLineIX with arrows, which i would buy in a sec.
