Default Anyone in the NOVA area have Detector Tools?

Does anyone in the NOVA area have Escort's Detector Tools loaded up?

I installed a 9500ci system, and didn't write down the serial number on the radar head (which I need to register the system -- and you have to register it before you can download the Detector Tools software).

If someone already has the software loaded up, per escort, I can connect to my car, and it will display my serial number. This would absolutely beat taking off my front bumper again just to get at the back of the radar head!

    Thanks!

The serial number can also be found on the yellow key card that came with the 9500ci and on the bottom of the retail box.

unfortunately, the system was given to me by a friend (original purchaser) when he sold his car, and he didn't have either the box or the yellow-card. And I didn't think to copy down the serial number before installing.

On a side note, there were a few do-dads I needed to reinstall the system in my car (two new brackets, the bezel for the LED, and the flush mount cover for the display) -- Escort was excellent to work with getting these parts (and the install came out great )

    Thanks!

I suppose it *could* be a stolen unit, but in this case, it isn't. When I called Escort to see if they had a record of the serial number based on their records from the original owner, they didn't have it... and I had the original owner on the phone at the time. Our conclusion is that he never registered it (none of his email addresses showed up in Escort's database) -- he certainly never updated the maps or installed the detector tools software.

Well, I guess that the only option is to go and get it off of the head. I know it might be a pain but it's more of a pain by not having to download the updates.
