8500 Questions

I used to have the X50 hardwired mounted low because i was afraid of laser

i am used to mounting the V1 up high so i mounted the 8500 high as well while the V1 is upgraded

would veil help me at all with the 8500 mounted high?

i tried using the hardwire from the V1 for the 8500 and it worked... will it do any damage?

what software versions do the original 8500 have? mine is rev 15

any other comments or tips?

- voltage
- expert
- loud
- city low X
- all bands on excepts sws
highway mode at all times

After using it all night I am still impressed. Having used an X50 and a V1, this 8500 still gives adequate warning.... performance isnt lagging too far behind.

I do miss the arrows though!
