Purchasing a new 8500 x50

haha wow! they really messed that order up. sorry to hear that.

I have been pleased with my 8500 x50. I had one a couple of years ago, but returned it just due to how much my highway driving dropped off. I recently ordered a new one; have liked it just as well as the first time I owned one. I was fairly close to ordering a Redline, but ended up making that a longer term goal rather than just buying it right now.

When you do receive, let us know how you like it. I've been reading quite a bit as far as opinions on the x50.

Just an update. I still haven't received my radar detector. They sent me another baby monitor. Apparently there is a mix up in the sku numbers mapped to the wrong item in the warehouse. They have launched investigative measures. Needless to say I am upset.

Wow I don't blame you for being mad!I can see once, but TWICE!Can you see the vain in my HEAD????Oh well all good things come to those who wait.All I can tell you is you will like the x50 when you get it.Be sure and tell us how you like it!You could drive around with the baby monitor, and if you get stopped for speeding tell the cop you just heard your baby crying and you got to get home right away!HA HAHe might just buy it!
