Hi there.

Marked locations using gps in 9500 series are great except they warn before too late. 500 meters isn't enough some times( I'm talking highway. is there any way to modify the distance to be more ?

I don’t know of any way to modify the warning distance of a 9500ix, it is configured for 1/3 of a mile (1760 feet) warning by default for marked speed traps and 250 feet for red-light camera locations.

The easiest way I can think of to provide more marked speed trap warning time would be to re-mark the location before the actual speed trap location by what ever distance you need, thereby giving you additional warning.
