It is the best RD on the market

I'm going for a STI-r + as well. I love the true lock but I want better range. If there's not a windshield m3 unit with gps out soon, I'll buy a STI-r + as well.

All of the videos I've seen have been very impressive!

    You serious?
    Yup.

I didn't see anything about new features of Band Segmentation or RDR. Even compared the owners manual of that "new one" to a current one and saw no differences. ??
Read the last one "User Manual - Supplement Card"

Yes it is, I am very interested to see how well it performs.

Escort knows we are all too lazy to read the whole thing. Common mistake.

x2. Especially that its bringing in K band segmentation as well as Ka. Could potentially be a huge game changer for windshield mounts
Yup, an M4 with the potential for M3 sensitivity quick response and less falsing to off axis junk. I believe the antenna was tweaked as well to allow for these features.

So many said the M4 was a joke, and only to make money. Nothing to do with cost effective flexibility and reliability like I said all along.

I hate to break the news to you but these new features are ALL software not hardware

I know this is being targeted for Europe & Australia, but what are the odds of it coming to the U.S.? Will it be like the Sti-R and take a few years to show up in the U.S.?

Even if that's true, it'll still be an improvement to the 9500, kinda like adding a mildly tuned supercharger to it lol

(shrug) Is the only difference between the 9500ci and STi-R Plus not only software? One still does better than the other on average.

So? Besides it looks like there is new M4 casting from what Nine_c1 observed.

    You are such a downer.

Right, yet theres still a significant difference in performance, so what's wrong with the differences in the new Euro 9500ix only being software (adding K and Ka seg)? They should in theory make a better performing detector.
happya$$ is just mad the M4 is exactly what I said and now it will beat the S7's.

He will now have to say:
M4 or go home for a window mount and M3 or go home for a remote mount.

Software can make or break an RD as we have seen with the 9500CI. The hardware is sooooo beautiful yet the software stinks. Escort's philosophy of less falsing is good and all but let US decide the configuration. No difference than a gaming console where somethign can have better hardware (Sega Master System vs Nintendo Entertainment System where the Sega system had better hardware but Nintendo had better software).
