The resale value on the 9500ix is definitely very good.
I just sold my Valentine V1 on Ebay for $365 which is pretty good as well.

I want to get the 9500ix to limit the false alarms that drove me crazy with the V1 but I fear a new / updated 9500ix model coming soon. It has been out for awhile now. I will be mad if I spend $500 plus shipping tax etc and then a new model comes out shortly and I now I take a huge depreciation hit.

When do you expect / guess / speculate a new / updated model similar to the 9500ix will be out?

There's a new one coming out with band segmentation, but it may not be in the US.
