Redline Ramp-up

I'm impressed with the range, especially through the turns and all the trees, but is the ramp-up normally that bad? It just goes straight to full alert, nothing in-between.

I've heard all about the redline speaker stories. Hence why I have the volume at 3/4 and have automute on. Hopefully I can prolong its life.

Get the Escort external speaker for the Redline, not only will it sound better but then you won't blow your internal speaker.

Me too, but that's just the way i set anything audio from my old car audio amplifier installing days, 3/4 max. Its still more than loud enough on the RedLine anyway.

On Ka Band, yes. K band ramp up is actually decent though.

Yup, Redline is pretty awesome in all aspects except for the audio of Ka.
If you run in bar graph display mode, the graph is actually pretty accurate for Ka.

Excellent range! From the videos I've seen, Ka band ramp up is very similar to that of your video.

That's because the RedLine doesn't have Ka ramp-up.
