I bought their speaker and IT is fine. However the socket on the Redline is a bit dodgy and I need to pull the plug out very slightly to get it not to make loud crackle and popping sounds.

You should check that your socket is good before you invest in the speaker - any headphones will work.

In my experience, the Redline's internal speaker is louder than STI-R Plus's external one.

I want some of whatever your smoking. Either that or my Redline speaker is ****ed and my STi-R's is overly loud.

I have an audio cable I use for MP3 players on my car stereo, and tested the RL and its fine. The sound quality sucks on the stereo for that, however.

You can smoke your smart ass comments if you want. I ran my Redline at 50% volume and thought it was still very loud. I'm running my STI-R Plus at 100% volume and wish it could be louder.

Chill man its just a joke. Maybe it has to do with where each of us have our speakers located.

well, tell us what you are doing. Did you get this for your radar detector or your jammers? If its the Escort speaker, you will need to wire it to a 12V power source before you can use it. Give us more information on what you are doing with it. Thanks!
