My wish has come true, well sort of it just needs to be on a M3 platform.

They need to add those features to their USA lineup of RDs.
Though, IMHO K band segmentation would be of limited utility in the States, since turning off any segment could cause an out of tune (but still within spec) gun to be missed.
Being able to turn off 24.200+ would be nice for filtering out those annoying Mercedes cruise controls. Whoever thought running those on K band was a good idea should be shot.![]()

This little thing is pure madness!!
RDR, K/Ka-Band segmentation, GPS, TrueLock,...
First tests against the low powered photo radar Multanova 6F (34.3 GHz) showed us, that the 9500ix INTL has almost the same performance as the STI-R/+. Sometimes the 9500ix INTL alerts simultaneously and sometimes with 1 or 2 seconds delay.
Hey Escort,
Will I get a free update to my 1-month old STi-R+ with the K-band segementation?
Whaaaaaa?? Not fair!
Id like to have k bs in the US. Like an audio junkie being able to adjust the bands like an equalizer would be promising.
Well, compared to the KA band, the K band is very small and very quick/easy to scan, so I do not see a huge point to K segmentation. However, I know that some EUR countries use a different K band than the USA for their K photo radars (forgot the model, I think its like RANDR or something like that). Does this K segmentation cover that?
