Redline arriving today

Man.... I haven't posted in a long time.

My very first high end detector was an Escort 8500 x50. Since then just have owned several Beltronics and a 9500i. I ended up choosing a valentine one as my go to detector. Well for the last year my wife has had the Valentine in her car, and I have been using my Bel v940.

It is definitely time for something a little more high end. I pulled the trigger on a redline, and it will be here today. I have been interested in trying the redline since it came out, and am interested to see how it does.

I am still planning on ordering another valentine next month though.

Nice. I also have been using the valentine as my go to detector for a while but I have always been very interested in the redline, I may have to pull the trigger on one as well for myself sometime next month

I'm a little worried about it. I pulled right up to the doors of a walmart today.... And got no alerts. Usually walmart make detectors go nuts. I wonder if this one uses some kind of system that doesn't cause false..... Or is my redline bad?

I wouldn't be worried. I don't get alerts at all Walmarts for some reason,even when using different RD's.

I have to agree for Escort live!. Basically turns the Redline into a RedIX.

It's not so much about the ''user network'' but for the defender and truelock feature.

to be honest..... In its current form escort live doesn't interest me. I have no desire to have to link my phone every time I get in the car....and put it on the charger...etc.

I do however think that there may be something wrong with my redline.... Which really sucks.

I paid an extra 50 dollars to have it overnight shipped so I could be sure it would be here before I leave town on Friday.

It sounds like you have another RD not too far, try that

Use it in highway mode and see if you get false alerts. Auto modes do a decent job of filtering X and K false alerts.
