Does anyone have problems with the mount for this unit? I have had mine for less then a week and the mount is really weak on the detector itself. Is there a way to fix this or do we need to purchase a new one?

I had them send me a second mount. Same problem. Then I discovered that if you loosen the set screw, you can tighten the nut over the ball. Then screw the set screw back in. It might need to be pushed as you will be digging a new hole with the set screw. But once you've tightened the nut, most of the drooping problems go away. If mine return, I'll just drill and tap a small hex key into the center ball. That will prevent the outer section from going any farther. Adjust for windshield angle with the main arm up at the glass.
