Default 9500ci laser alert problem with kick-down

    Hi

I found an old thread about this but has anyone newer information?

The car is VW GTi 2011 with DSG.
The problem is that every time one accelerates full (with kick-down) - 9500ci goes off laser alert.
Positive power lead is connected directly to battery and negative to body. How to avoid this problem? All feedback is accepted gratefully

You have a noisy ground. You will need an inline power filter installed on the 9500ci's main power lines. We offer one for $30.00 before shipping. If you had it installed than contact your installer about getting one. If you installed the 9500ci then please call us at the number in my signature below and ask about ordering a "9500ci RF Filter". It simply installs inline with the positive and negative main power wires of the 9500ci.
