Others that tested it found many issues that needed attention. Now the release has been delayed to solve them - so just how much testing did you do Roy to give such good review??

There are a few things people talked about on the Escort forum. It was not the longest, RedLine beat it in range, although the Max was slightly faster in response it could not control the falses that it's "DNA of signal" was promising. The signal hold time of a short burst of POP or I/O was an eternity of 14 seconds - previous Belscorts are somewhere around 8 seconds, still a looooooonnnnngggggggggggggggggg time to have a RD blaring at you solid. First test models would give a "service" message when run with X band off. There is no way to turn off the annoying "Night Rider" display, and they took away the ability to Segment Ka, etc, etc, etc.

I know the production model has not been released and I am sure Escort will solve these issues and have a quality detector that will Rock Our World - It will just take a little time and we need to be patient. I just don't want to be fed a bunch of marketing crap in the meantime..
