    Default Just updated my firmware and defender database via Mac NOW LOST DEFENDER DATABASE

    Has this happened to anyone else -- ????
    update took several minutes -- first time using Mac Beta
    when finished message said Firmware updated
    Database Merged --GPS Filter is on in Max seetings

    but no REDLIGHT camera warnings in known locations......anyone know
    how to rebuild the Defender database /// the 9500IX still reports Redlight
    cameras a the spots I question

    You need to go manually into "Preferences" in your MAX and reset its "Markers" to "Default".
    If you updated to v1.4 of the MAX software it turns off all Markers (redlight /speed cameras etc except the "other" catagory.)
    This is a known bug in the PC version and I assume it has carried over to the MAC version. Your database should still be there.
