    Default Redline Review by nineballrakm

My first road trip (500 miles) I only encountered 3 LEO with my new Redline. It was very impressive to say the least. I was surprised how far it had picked up Ka 34.7. It was over two large hills and the LEO was targeting from behind a semi-truck. Don't know why, but the Redline sniffed it without any difficulty. The third LEO nearly tagged me at 85 in a 70. No rabbit. My fault. I was lucky he had a bad angle on me. I am impressed with the response time that it gives you when alerted. I love that part. The second big change that I noticed from my RX-65 is that it picks up far more better than any detector at right angles. My Rx-65 had to be inline with the signal before alerting. This detector will alert you at quite some distance when approaching intersections that LEO are around the corner. A little "chirpy" on K band in the city but cut that sensitivity down because of LEO use only C/O. Ka band 2,5,8X band off AutoNoXTSR on (city only/constant on)SWS off

Good review. TSR on and Auto sensitivity is about the best you can do to alleviate K falsing. It doesn't handle BSM well, but does good against stationary falses.
