You should do more research on some of the newer RDs that are now available. Your style of driving & where you live + whether in an urban area or out in the boondocks of wide-open spaces means all those factors play a role in which one is perfect for you.

You're not ready to buy an RD until you've done more homework & have watched Testings videos from people comparing RDs against each other using different radar band sources.

it seems to come down to the max 2 the redline and the valentine v1

what rds are you talking about i do not want to miss any

i live in the lowermainland of bc canada
i drive throught bc and alberta

I don't know if any of the Escort products have good filtering with BSM. The V1 does and at least where I live a high end RD is useless without BSM filtering. As time goes on it is only going to get worse as more and more cars are being equipped with BSM.
