Escort 8500 x50 External Powered Speaker

Hey,
I tend to play the music in my car way too loud and I was thinking about purchasing the external powered speeaker from Radar Roy. Does anyone have this or know how it is hooked up or what not or if it even helps?

There is an AUX speaker jack in the back of the X50...and yes it will greatly help...

The volume on the side will still work. If it's too loud turn it down. One person I spoke with said it can be ear piercing.
