I drive a 2003 audi a4. silver, but its about to under go a huge make over and may be resprayed so i guess color is up in the air, it also may be getting the newer style b7 front end .
I do drive through Va but only a couple of times a year, i live in south carolina.
Well, you have a couple of combinations for an excellent remote installed setup. Both the A4 and B7 have a fair amount of chrome up front, and both have those flat areas up front for the euro plates. Some possibilities (keeping in mind that you do a lot of driving on a yearly basis:
9500ci plus a LI -- Gives you the best radar detection, the best laser detection, plus alerts for red light and speed cameras, and suppression of false alerts from microwave door openers. I don't think that the 9500ci's ZR4 shifters will give you adequate protection for your particular car, but can serve as backups to the LI's and they can be configured to only alert to laser.
STi-R plus a LI -- This less expensive combo gives you the best possible radar detection plus the best possible laser detection, but you lose all of the other features which the 9500ci has.
As far as the LI goes, you will want two heads up front plus two heads for the rear.
Anyway, considering that you put 30K under your belt every year, I figure that you would want the best possible protection.
