Nice to meet you Jerry ticket magnet. Now repeat these 12 steps with me.

    1. We admitted we were powerless over speeding- that our lives had become unmanageable.

    2.
Came to believe that a Radar detector greater than ours currently could restore us to safety.

    3.
Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of radardetector.net.

    4.
Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our countermeasures.

    5.
Admitted to radardetector.net, to ourselves and to other people the exact nature of our speeding and lack of countermeasures.

    6.
Were entirely ready to have radardetector.net teach us all about countermeasures and driving safety.

    7.
Humbly ask the people of this forum to forgive our shortcomings.

    8. No one detector is perfect for everyone. And the one you don’t like may be perfect for someone else.

    9. Test ride all top radar detectors before making a decision.

    10. To embrace technology is not to blindly except it. we must always question technology but never be afraid to use it.

    11. Use the search button before asking a question.

    12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to speeders and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

Thx guys!! Actually.. I've been using a V1 and a Passport 8500 for years.. at the moment I have my first clean record in 18 years, but not for lack of trying.

I'm a motorcycle guy living in the mountains. Even the best detector is only slightly better than nothing in the curves..

    for this very reason..

    1. I do 90% of my riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway where ALL tickets are federal. You pay them.. they don't go on your record.. you forget about them.. Woohoo!!

    2. I have a lawyer to handle any "real world" tickets.

Glad to be a member here...

CJR is a riot! Anyway, with regards to #11, he should add:

"And silently cuss to yourself when the search button doesn't produce the results which you were looking for."
