    welcome to the forum. Most V1 users turn POP detection off because of the amount of falses it generates

    Pop would have to be giving me a dozen J-out falses a day or more before I would even consider turning it off. That's just stupid. It's like turning an entire band off. Floridia is about the only place where -- if you are getting a tonne of J-out falses -- you might consider turning it off. But honestly, I've never seen anyone anywhere getting that amount of J-outs to justify it. You're gonna get pwn3d.

    Almost everyone here says POP isn't used and to keep it off.

    I would leave it on unless it drives you crazy, then turn it off. Make your own decision.

    At least the V1 can alert to any POP, as apposed to most other RD units.
