Interesting! Are you absolutely positive that it was DPS, and not some locals with black and white cars? Because DPS pulled all their LIDAR off the street last Spring. If they have returned, this is very recent and very significant news!

I also don't think I have ever in my life seen a DPS trooper backed into a hiding place. They're notorious for staying in plain sight. In fact, I suspect it is policy.

Welcome aboard. I too suggest jammers before a v1. If I can assume from your handle that your driving a Cadillac dts then you should probably look at the laser interceptor.
