    yea just call up VR and they will prob say they ont have ne available but just all back in a couple days...they are the v1's that are returned with the 30 day money back thing

    i hadn't either until i asked ;-)... When i placed the order i mentioned Escort's deal on those 8500's and they said we do have ONE available...

    yeah it does exist. The units that people send back to V1 are sold as refurb. They do not advertise it as a refurb nor have i found a link on their website. i got this advise when i started researching different websites. Its a good way to save 40 dollars and have a unit thats been used only a few days.......i bet they must have been put thru some test before they are sent out....

    that's a 10% off scratch-n-dent sale - I love it
    and yes, you bet they verify it's performance, as part of the QC process, to see if a returned unit is malfunctioning.

    Welcome, you will get plenty of use out of your V1 in GA, just watch out for GSP I/O!
