When the dog starts beeping, slow down!

Instead of arrows, his nose will point at the radar source.

Imagine driving through a location where RDs are banned and Spectres are used. Get caught and have the LEO search the car for the RD. Have them bring the Spectre in the car, and wonder why the dog is setting it off.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

    Factors that I am considering:
    1) V1 nails the core issue (sensitivity) but seems to lag the market in other "cool" features such as GPS, red light camera database, etc

    2) Are there other features in Passport that are in the works (anything that has to do with GPS, internet, etc)?

    3) Is there a risk that Valentine Research (which is pretty much a one man show as I understand) shuts down its operations within a few years from now, just because Mike Valentine himself may want to retire...

All comments are appreciated, especially from users that have used other detectors.

    Thanks a bunch!
If you have the scratch, you can get one of each. Get a V1 and disable X & K bands, using it as a Ka and Laser sniffer only. Then get a gps radar detector and use it for all bands. Run them together like many members here do.
Good point. I guess I was trying to avoid this experiment by tapping into the forum's knowledgebase.

You guys are gonna get a kick out of this: it's a POODLE my mom's poodle!

a "standard poodle", the mother of all poodles - about 55 lbs. The sweetest dog, but he'll chew anything - computer cables, shoes, and now radar detectors are on his menu...

Thant's an excellent idea, as soon as I am done with the "poodle enabled radar detector" - the ultimate in "concealed displays" I'll post a "how to" with pix. "Stealth" will be an understatement...

No there isn't. Use the paperclip icon in the posting window to attach the pic.
