Hi, i'm new and need info on how to install and HIDE a Blinder M27 or similar on a C5 Corvette for use in CA. Please help. I can't afford to bail out the state budget on my own, but they really are trying to make me contribute on a daily basis!! Please help.

no need to hide the jammer it is a "parking sensor" as long you turn it off once you reach the PSL the cops shouldnt give you a second look

Ditto! The Blinder is a parking sensor that is important to protect the front end of the vette in tight parking. Also rear visibility is poor in backing situations which is another good reason to have one. BUT BE SURE TO KEEP THE SWITCH TO MODE II. Otherwise it might interfere with other laser devices not associated with proximity location.

(But if you do accidently interfere with other laser devices be sure to verifiy your speed is at the posted limit and turn off the parking sensor.)

Any of you guys get away with the parking sensor bit yet?

The feature can be demonstrated on site and will not interfere with a lidar gun parking mode. And it really works. I use it all the time when I'm pulling into my garage space.

You want to install the heads clear of the front bumper. I don't know if you have Z06 C5 or not but if it's the regular C5 you can install the heads inside the intake wells as far out to the edges as possible. If you have a Z06 you may want to add replacement grill covers so you can notch them for the jammer heads.

If you slow to PSL and then cut it off there will be no need to demonstrate it as a parking sensor. There are many members here that live in CA that have no issues using"parking sensors".
