    Default Greetings from Queens NY

I originally had a set of Escort Laser Shifters ZR3 and the Blinder M20, but now I am a proud owner of the new M27. I also have the latest Valentine V1, and I have been saved several times with both sets of equipment.

Welcome to the forum. For a newcomer, you are pretty well equipped. What vehicle did you install the m27 on? Any questions about your V1?

The V1 is hardwired into my e46 BMW, and the blinder setup (*thanks to BlinderGuy) is installed on my front bumper.

I've been searching the radar/laser forums for a while, and had my V1 since 06'. I just wanted to be part of the forums post/.02cents wise'

I belive the V1 is in Logic mode "L" being visible. Do you think thats a good setting for NY/NJ/PA/CT area?

Welcome to the forum. good choice on the M27 and the V1....Have you managed to get it tested yet....

..I would only use the logic mode settings within the city. On the highways i switch it back to A mode. The logic modes does not decrease/ increase sensitivity. It only affects the X band and K band depending on the auto mute settings.

X band is still used in Nj so I would run the V1 in A mode.

I did get the V1 tested a few times, haven't really ran a test for the M27, I was hoping to go with a friend to the NJ shootout this weekend. I'm awaiting for his reply. There are going to be a couple of laser guns there. I still get X-band alerts on my V1 with the logic mode. I have to try the A mode and see if there is a difference on the highway.
