Hi All,

Well after hours of research I just purchased a V1 to be used in my Audi S4 and BMW K1300S motorcycle. I was also looking into the M27 w/vizalert to mate with the V1 on the BMW.

Great information on this site and hope to contribute very soon!!!

Welcome to the forum. You are looking into the right countermeasures so far. Are you also going to get a jammer for the bike?

That is what the Jammer would be for. I was spanked by a cop in the car pool lane going 97 in a 65 while lane splitting to get by a few stoopid cagers (driving eratically with there cell phones to there heads!) the 97 was only for maybe 2 seconds before I had slowed down to 70-75 again. I was sooooo pissed and now I will eliminate the threat!!!

Welcome to the forum. i understand your situation. its one of the reason why most of us started on this hobby not cause we are agressive drivers.......

That is fine. Just keep in mind that a jammer system can't be easily transferred from one vehicle to the other. If you want laser protection for your Audi, you'll have to buy another jammer system.

Yea I pretty much figured that out, but since the Audi is only driven 9 miles round trip to my office (city roads with lots of stops) I figure I can wait on that one. The Bike on the other hand is ridden between 200-400 miles almost every weekend strafing the local mountains

The key to good laser protection for a motorcycle is a good laser jammer system and your helmet. LEOs can get speed readings off your helmet so you need to find the darkest helmet you can get your hands on.
