Awesome! That's what this community is all about! In medical school, we call it "watch one, do one, teach one". You watch someone do your install. You install someone else's. Then you teach someone else how to install. Pass on the knowledge and goodwill, and it will come back to you in Karma.
Oh dude that would be awesome! Im not much of a install dude myself and probably dont even have half the right tools, but having someone there that knows what they are doing and to walk me through the process would be good. And we live somewhat close to each other also. I will PM you if you dont mind.
Quick question for you though, and Ill stop high jacking this dude thread. I know a ton of cops are switching over to laser, BUT how important do you think it is for me to get a$$ protection also? People have been talking about getting hit from behind and obviously you would never see that if they are on an overpass, but have the good ol' GA LEOs/State Troopers started doing this?
And if you think I should be ok with the M27 for now, is it upgradeable to the 47? The jammers are plug n play, so does the M27 "brain" already have 2 empty slots to add 2 jammers later? Or is it better to just go ahead and get the M47?
Thanks again.
In reply to a question above, yes, the M27 is upgradeable. It has 4 connectors for jammer heads, so it could be a M27, 37 or 47.
I run from Columbus Ga. over to Macon, Augusta, Savannah and into SC a bit as well as down to Waycross and around Tifton.
The 8500 should serve you well in other areas but ATL is LIDAR city...
Had a friend get a ticket just one exit north of me on I-85 NE of ATL with I/O K-band. But it was 1 AM so not much traffic.
