    Thanks djrams

I guess neither the STi-R and STi-R plus detect Ku ? Anyway, youre absolutely right, after checking this topic with the bands used in each country, the Ku seems to be used only in Hungary, Greece, England, Germany. The only country I'm likely to drive trough in this list is Germany.

Anyway, an undercover installation with the V1 seems hard - And if the customs check the car they'll find it for sure (they check the bags, everywhere). This can happen each time you pass a border (and we have a lot of borders in EU lol) - The STI-R seems to be adapted to my use - The bad thing is that he doesnt checks the back of the car, and some country are quite crazy (I dont know if these pics are from Slovakia or Swizerland), I think the radar is a multanova, build in swizerland, just look:

    (Audi S4)

two pictures, please copy/past in adress bar - As I cant put an image cause I havn't 15 posts.

As the Multanova takes the speed only from 30m to 40m - With the V1, you have a chance.

But, I think that theirs more chance that a LEO sees the V1 or that the customs find it, even if its hidden (depends how its hidden, but the risk stays) - Than that one of these crazy cars follows me.

    What you think ?

No. The M3 platform is not capable of Ku Band.

There is no Ku Band radar in Germany. In the past the Traffipax microspeed09 was in use in Berlin, but not anymore.

In Germany Multanova 6F (Ka), Traffipax speedophot (K, digital) and Mesta 208 (K-band) is used.

You can find more information on www.radarfalle.de and its forum Radarforum.de

Regarding a laser jammer, the Blinder is not recommended for Germany.

Vielen dank Kollege ! - Das hilft sehr.

For Germany, the thread (list of bands used in europe) announces Ku bands for Germany, obviously some infos are not up to date.

Is there a jammer you could recommend for Germany ?

    thanks !
