I have the more powerful 8.7 jammer heads on mine from November, these heads have been out a couple of months. The software updates and user-download feature is new though. A lot of the features described are enhancements enabled by new software. Regarding the parking aid accuracy and sensitivity, I would not count on this feature - with only 2 sensors mounted high you wont have much corner protection, and no-where near the granularity of a bumper mounted OEM parking sensors like the one's on my Lexus and Infiniti cars. The parking mode is good only for distracting suspicious coppers.

My LI's work great as parking sensors. When they beep I am positioned perfectly in the garage.

Mine too, in the garage, but they do not work at all while parallel parking.

I've only parallel parked once...and that was in the parking lot of the DMV.

Never? How do you two go through life without ever having to parallel park?

Where do they still have parking on the street? Even if they do they have parking on the street most if not all is diagonal parking.

Yep, the only time I've parallel parked was on the driving test.
I'd have to drive for about 35-40 minuets to downtown where you could parallel park but wouldn't want to.
