Definitely get a laser jammer if your driving 316 often. I got a 105 in a 65 on 316 a couple months ago from a surprise laser shot...

Escort Redline is a good RD. It is brand new and we have found a couple glitches in a couple that we have tested. I'd also look into the Bel STi. It is also immune to RDDs. For laser, you'll have to get a laser jammer. Best laser jammer systems are Blinder and Laser Interceptor.
    X2....

Yeah i remember when they just started to enforce the move over law in full force. I was pulled over going 5 below the speed limit and still given the citation. My gf was pulled over and given a warning for 75/70......but that's around college station Texas....

Anyways, i would look into laser jammers as well along with your choice of other counter measures.

If you got a ticket for 5 over fight it, it will cost you nothing in court, especially if they used radar or laser.
    Hayden,

I'm pretty familiar with this area too, my parents live 5 minutes from John's creek, and I've been driving up and down Medlock Bridge Road quite a bit over the holidays. Most of the tickets around here seem to be issued using a Laser, although some Gwinnett cops do have Ka band guns. I would say a jammer is a must, a radar detector would be useful but not as important as the jammer. Also you need to be pretty aware since they also do a lot of pacing since those black chargers with the slim overhead lights are hard for some people to spot.

Category 4 is pretty much an expert all LEO tools in Northern Atlanta so he can probably tell you more. In fact I'm going to try to catch him to test my system before I go back south.

If you tell us about the vehicles you are trying to protect, we can give you more info on suitable jammers, and on radar. For this area though, with all the strip malls, I would suggest an Escort radar with truelock such as the 9500ix or the 9500ci, and if you really want to go all out a V1 in parallel for the arrows.

Yeah, best to change lane since this is something they are sensitive to. I can also vouch for the fact that tickets cannot be given or enforced for speeds of 10mph or less above PSL.
