    Default Hello ALL V1 User from NY

    Hello All, I am a fellow laser finder operator.. Proud owner of a V1 for sometime now.. Great product has saved me many of times .. Forum looks very informative, i am currently devising a plan to hard wire my V1 into my acura.. Looking folward to some ideas and seeing others setups..

    Yeahhh acutually.. I've seen these sleek consealed displays for the V1 with multi color indicators. I was wondering how i could get my hands on a unit like that.

    also, In ur signature what is the difference in the radar detectors you have?? Like is one updated or something?

    The numbers are the software numbers of my V1s. the 3.813 is a pre-POP V1 and the 3.872 is a post-POP V1. In other words, the 872 can detect POP radar and the 813 can't. Still, POP is rarely used so on my 872 I have POP turned off. I recommend you do the same.

    Hmm i wonder which version mine is.. I've checked it on V1 website they say its onlly upgrade option aval. is the euro version, And im not planning on going to euro anytime soon.
    How is POP de-Activated?
    Just curiouse about it and the other Logic and advanced logic is it?? never really use those modes . i always stick with A . Does the trick.

    If you just bought it, then you have a 3.872. It is the latest version.

    Read the owner's manual to find out what logic mode and advanced logic mode are.

    cool stuff..
    that a bit too in dept for me, for right now any way .
    Deff alot of stuff on here to learn about ..
