Still new to forum

I've been on this forum for about a week now reading up and learning way more about radar detectors than I ever thought there was to know. As I'm reading I am having some trouble with the abbreviations. I know RD=radar detoctor and I think LEO=law enforcement officer. Those are the only two that I can figure out. Could ya'll please feel me in on the meaning of the other abbreviated words like I/O and the others. I can't remember them all right now, but do recall coming across several that I had no clue of the meaning. I'm sure once I figure them out they will make perfect since. Thanks.

i/o = instant on radar or when a leo turns in radar on and off to target certain cars so rd's cant pick up the radar

c/o = a leos radar is on...he is just sitting there monitoring every cars speed..

rvm - rear view mirror...like people will hardwire (connect their rd's to the cars electrical system for a clean install and mount the rd above the rvm)

i/o stands for instant on - This can easily be understood as an instant source of radar. The cop would have his radar gun switched off and as soon as you pass by or are within in a certain distance, he would turn it on. If your the first car he hits, your toast. So its always advisable to drive with another car in front, which is referred to as rabbit.....They are the bait and hopefully after the cop shoots him you would have enough time to slow down, before you become the target.

C/o stands for constant on- the radar will be on continuously for a good duration of time and is easier to avoid, since most decent rds pick it up at a safer distance.

Thanks guys. I get it now. I see the same LEO on my road atleast once a month and he I/O's always. He got me once a year and a half ago, but know I've learned his route and only slow down for a short distance of the road. All of the LEO's that run our interstates always use C/O and are a piece of cake to avoid.
