It sure is. =) My drive to work every day is 45 miles through the country on an often very busy road called Ave. 7. The CHP patrol this road like crazy. Even worse, they all use I/O Radar out here... so I am afraid to speed unless I have a rabbit in front of me. These CHP hide their cars behind trees, trucks, and everywhere else they can position their car where they can't be seen. They even use the shade of Almond trees to hide their black and white. Thus the 100s of saves and... my need for a Redline instead of a 9500ix.
They also use me as a shield sometimes. I wonder if they like hiding behind white SUVs? Usually what happens is I will be driving along and when the CHP spots me, he gets behind me. Then as I drive, he will peak out slightly to watch for on coming cars. Then he slightly moves out of view of the on coming car, and a few seconds later when it is much closer, he pops out and gets an I/O reading on him. I can tell what he is doing based on when my Radar Detector goes off. It is almost humorous, because I try to guess which car is going to get caught. Someday I might hook a video camera up to my car to record it. It is so humorous. :P The CHP out here are little devils.

Ahaha nice!
I am afraid I must admit, that I no longer flash the on coming cars. I used to, but now I have come to the conclusion that better other people than me. I have done a lot of research, spent a lot of time, and paid a lot of money to be radar/laser ready. I feel that other people should do the same. =) When people pass me going the same direction and my radar is going off like crazy, I used to point at my detector to warn them. I no longer do so. We gotta make use of these rabbits yah know. Plus, I need people to distract the CHP and keep them busy writing tickets while I pass them uber fast. =)
Part of me feels a little guilty.. but they accept the responsibility of a ticket when they speed. Good times. I should stick a video camera in my car.
